Cadena de Talentos invests in young talent that lacks opportunities, but once given a chance to develop their talent would be able to change the status quo in an environment that really needs it.

We do this, with your help, by providing young people between 15 and 20 years of age from the slums of Lima, Peru, with opportunities to obtain an university degree or a vocational education. Besides this we encourage them to become ‘agents of change’ through workshops and a Summer University. These young people are selected on the basis of their talent, perseverence and the willingness to help others.

Thus we create a ‘think tank’ that can, in time, continue independently. From the outset all students take on the moral obligation to apply their talent again in the slums where they are from. Besides this they will also make a part of their future income available to other young, talented people, who can then become educated as well.
